Our inner wolves

As I “flip the home page” to add something with a new date, the oldest dated story gets knocked off into some “calendar limbo”. If what gets knocked off is “timeless”, I will add it to this page of “Other stories”.

Here is a “timeless” story that a friend (and member) emailed to me:

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me, you and every person” he said, “It is a terrible fight between two wolves: one is evil — he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, guilt, resentment, lies, false pride and superiority; the other is good — he is joy, peace, love, kindness, generosity, truth and compassion. When the grandson asked which wolf will win, the old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.”
