On a whole different topic, I’m in the middle of a “dialogue” with someone who claims to have been inspired to eat more fish and chicken as an angry reaction to things I’ve said. He particularly likes salmon, and considers it a healthy food choice. When I read that, I remembered how farmed salmon is naturally gray, and did a little Google search. (But I won’t tell him. He can eat his dyed fish filets, if it helps him deal with his outrage toward me.)

Anyway, here are a couple of interesting sites I found. The one pertains to breast cancer.

Farm-Raised Salmon Contain More Toxins Than Wild Salmon

The other pertains to a whole lot of issues. The most important, environmentally speaking, is how much wild catch it takes to raise farmed fish. This is not a sustainable practice!
