“The Resurrection and Bovine Methane” (interesting comments)

I just found this old blog post, “The Resurrection and Bovine Methane”, which began as a commentary about the Presiding Bishop’s Easter Message. I thought the comments were surprising, and worth linking to, because the tone and the focus seemed to shift.

As a reference, here is the Easter Message.

(I don’t agree that it is more palatable to blame the cows than the cars, though, or more environmentalists would be talking about the impact of animal agriculture. Meat is a “sacred cow”. No one wants to touch the topic. It’s easier to suggest changing our light bulbs. And, of course, I’m proud to have KJS as our PB. So I’m not posting this because of the anti-Episcopal sentiments.)
