And here’s a video I found tonight of the Katrina animal rescue:

Over 8,000 animals were rescued. Only about 1,000 have been reunited with their families or adopted. They not only went from a terrible situation to a life of captivity, but they have added to the shelter populations of homeless pets. Please consider adopting an animal in need, instead of buying from (even responsible) breeders. (Sorry, Patrick. Dog breeders are adding to the overpopulation problem.)
