Why join?

This answers the question.

Because of automated spam personalities repeatedly "joining" this site, we've fixed this site so no one new people can "join" this site.

I don't know if that matters for people who would like to comment on a post.

But if it does, and if you'd like to comment on something, and aren't able to, or if you want to post a comment where more people interact, please join the "Episcoveglist" listserv. (See the bottom of this page.)

It is a listserv that was set up for Episcopalians who are animal-friendly vegetarians, but not everyone on the list is an Episcopalian or a vegetarian. But they are friendly toward us, and open-minded enough to stay. However, if you openly defend animal exploitation, or the killing of animals, you will be a minority voice.

It is an unmoderated listserv. But as veg'ns and vegetarian-friendly folk, we "take action" against spam.

If you join our listserv, please introduce yourself, and let us know a little about you, so you can feel like part of a community.

Or, better yet, if you are an active Episcopalian who has more than a casual interest in animal issues (regardless of your dietary choices) please join the Episcopal Network for Animal Welfare, which also has a listserv -- which is currently our only form of communication between members.
